Can Kobe and Shaq RE-NEW their vows for another Championship?

Two days to the trading deadline.
One more big body needed for the Los Angeles Lakers to clinch this thing, according to Los Angeles Times columnst Bill Plaschke.
Why not Shaq?
Why not bring back a guy who is no longer disliked by Phil Jackson, no longer a threat to Kobe Bryant, and no longer an embarrassment to himself?
The Phoenix Suns are open to trading everyone with a pulse. The Lakers are looking to close the deal on a championship. As recently as a month ago, everyone was dying to get rid of Lamar Odom and . . .
OK, OK, I get it. This is not a deal you make now.
I wouldn't trade Odom now that he's finally looked in a mirror. I wouldn't bring the Big Combustion into the steadiest room in the league.
No Shaq now.
But don't say no Shaq never.
There's
a funny thing about the possibility of the Lakers one day allowing one of the most polarizing, powerful presences in franchise history to end his career here.
Not everyone on the Lakers is dismissing it.

Lakers trade Shooter for Shooter and defense

Lakers pass Vladimir Radmanovic to the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown. This is a great deal for all of the players in this deal. Vlad will definitely see more minutes and Adam and Shannon will have a chance at winning an NBA Championship. Adam has been struggling in Larry Browns offensive regime.
The deal is reportedly to insure the cap space to resign Lamar Odom and Trevor Ariza in the off season.
I think this is a great move for the Lakers and Bobcats. Lakers are going to free that cap space and eventhough Adam has struggled to create his own shot since being drafted to the pro's. Playing with Kobe will create the open looks he needs to be effective. Shannon Brown plays good defense and can help match up on west coast scorers.

Rondo... You better show some R.E.S.P.E.C.T.!

Rajon Rondo tried to punk Kobe on a play where a loose ball was recovered by the Lakers. Rondo walked over and pushed Kobe and Kobe did not take that lightly.
Come on Rondo, that was immature and who would be stupid enough to fire up the best basketball player on the planet.

Lakers break Celtics 12 game winning streak!
Lakers played the Celtics last night and it was a game for the ages. This was a statement game for the Lakers. Lakers were without Andrew Bynum and had to prove they can compete against the Celtics without him.
"We had something to prove to ourselves," Bryant said. "This was a statement game for us."
Without their emerging big man, Andrew Bynum, the Lakers walked out of the new Boston Garden late Thursday night with smiles from ear-to-ear and their heads held high after a 110-109 overtime victory against the defending world champs.
"I won't lie to you," Walton said. "This one was big. It was real big. We all remember what it felt like and while this still doesn't make it for it, it's still nice."
Great game, the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers have definitely renewed there rivalry.

Lakers may trade? If so who goes?

Lakers Will Listen To OffersGM Mitch Kupchak said Monday that he wouldn't seek a replacement for injured center Andrew Bynum through a trade. Coach Phil Jackson said Wednesday, however, the Lakers would listen to trade offers before the Feb. 19 deadline.
"We certainly won't sit back and just assume (the best)," Jackson said. "We'll talk about it. We'll try to improve the club if there's a necessary thing to do. That's what you have to do in this business." -- Los Angeles Daily News

To see their player better yet superstar wearing low top sneakers on the court. This may start a new trend of ballerz sporting low top sneakers on the local courts.
